Review of In the Mood for Love (2000) by Lorenzo V — 12 Dec 2009
The idea was good - focus on the morally upright spouses of two adulterers - but it's also basically unfilmable. Nothing happens, and while that may very well be the point, it's very uninteresting on screen.
The shots are gorgeous and the acting serviceable, but the music is repetitive and the pacing irritating. 45 minutes of story were crammed into an hour and a half of film.
