Review of In the Loop (2009) by Dimetre A — 06 Mar 2010
The script is so well written. The barbed insults are absolutely inspired and expertly delivered. Peter Capaldi as Malcolm Tucker is revelatory, adding humanity to what is essentially a caricature. Stylistically, I don't understand the film and the way it's filmed or edited, but it's consistently entertaining, and slightly frustrating in equal measure.
