Review of In the Loop (2009) by Vincent A — 16 Mar 2010
When the Minister for International Development lands himself in trouble during an interview over the impending war in the Middle East the Prime Minister's Director of Communication, Malcom Tucker has to step in and sort things out.
The film is based and inspired from the events leading up to the Iraq war in 2003 and Malcom Tucker is based on Tony Blair's spin doctor Alaistar Campbell. The film is hilarious all throughout and is work of genius.
The swearing and sarcastic references by Tucker are legendery. If you like political comedies you'll love this film !!
