The pure genius about comedy is not its ability to make you laugh but it ability to make you think. This film as incredibly funny as it was, and trust me it was, it truly made you think. When you shed all its funny quotes, quick comebacks, its an extremely sad and telling tale that reflects the events of today and places politics in a different light.
A mix of The West Wing and The Office, In the Loop is feels and looks every much like a documentary but with an added extra spice. I have NEVER laughed so hard in my entire life. This includes all comedies and Judd Apatow films.
I laughed so hard I had to see this movie again just because I kept missing some of the dialogue cause of all the laughter. This movie was smart, funny as hell and gave some EXCELLENT performances that are worthy of awards.
Everyone in the cast was amazing, James Gandolfini had me on the floor. The dialogue was so so so amazing and shows the true talent of the cast since they were responsible for so much of the fresh add-libed dialogue.
I saw this at Tribeca and was blessed to speak to some of the cast and unbeknowst to me knows one of the cast members and I remember just hearing so many delightful moments and things that wasn't included in the film.
This movie is definately one to own, just so you can constantly rewind all the fantastic moments and quotes from the film. Difficult, difficult, lemon, difficult!
