Political satire set in the run up to the iraq war. It is laugh out loud funny but not as much as the thick of it. I dont understand why they changed the characters but kept the same actors; ultimately, this confusion distracts the thick of it fans from the good writing and farcical humour.
It is still very enjoyable though.
