Review of In the Loop (2009) by Mark M — 28 Aug 2010
What's so great about it is that it is comedy made and acted in a serious way, there are no characters making funny faces, or characters fighting (with the hands) or physical comedy, there are not such "typical things" in this film, and still, despite how complicated, and absolutely FAST it is, it is really funny, and sometimess hilarious.
It has a fantastic script, that I bet it was so hard to write it, there are no unnecessary scenes, it's a complete entertainment, because they simple didn't stop talking not even one second, that's why it's so complicated to follow, but I watched it twice in consecutive days and I enjoyed it even more the second time, because obviously I knew what kind of film I was going to watch.
It's really fantastic, full of pop culture references and hundreds of funny insults, a really funny, clever and enjoyable experience.
