Review of In the Line of Fire (1993) by Christopher S — 30 Jul 2007
This movie is a formulaic action-thriller on paper, but the amazing cast, crew, and a smart script by Jeff Maguire make it something special. Clint Eastwood is fabulous as the psychologically damaged Secret Service veteran who tries to redeem his failure to protect JFK by stopping a psychotic killer, played ably by a very creepy John Malkovich.
Very entertaining, lots of fun; the formulaic climax and ending are kinda lame though.
