Review of In the Line of Fire (1993) by James O — 01 Jun 2012
Presdicatable, slightly schmaltzy but solid. Worth watching as Eastwood is always class. Malkovich slightly overplays the psychotic villain like a lot of bad guys in earlier films. Makes it almost comic but there is enough menace there to carry the story.
It is worth watching but nothing too memorable here. A typical early 90s thriller that maybe hasn't aged brilliantly.
