Review of In the Land of Women (2007) by Caitlyn S — 30 Aug 2008
Some aspects of Brody's acting somewhat got on my nerves. He seemed a little fake and talked a little strange. Thats just a minor note. I think this film was an average good movie; nothing great but not bad either.
It's an interesting concept of this heartbroken man helping the lives of these 4 women. (Yes it was four. Count them all.) Kristin Stewart is going to be good. I found myself thinking a lot about how in a weird sense, I wish I was this character.
..which is kinda twisted. I liked the story and the script was fairly decent. Watch for the party scene. This was much better than most other movies of distraught men going back home to find themselves.
I choose this over Garden State anyday.
