Review of In the Land of Women (2007) by Codie E — 08 Oct 2008
This is a very good drama-romance with a real and honest mood that is very charming and realisticly moving. Jon Kasdan has obviously learnt and taken notes from his father, Lawrence particularly in managing and eliciting very good performances (Brody, Kasdan and Stewart all very good) and has written (previous writing credit on "Freaks and Geeks") and directed a debut that should promise a good career.
Probably shouldn't warrant 5 stars but it ticks every box I could have given it.
