I actually enjoyed this film. Brody is actually fairly solid in this role. There were parts of this film that I really connected with; a mother dealing with Breast cancer, moving in with a grandmother to take care of her, finding yourself struggling with a creative project.
And, Meg Ryan was great. I'm surprised I somehow missed news of her cutting off all her hair for role.
