MAIN PLOT SUMMARY (I mean, if there even is a plot):

Let me save you the 2 hrs I utterly wasted watching this film.

Adam Brody is a writer of porn movies (yeah, not kidding). First he gets dumped. So sad for him. He can't take being dumped by a hot model/actress, so he moves to Michigan with his psychotic grandmother who's determined that she's gonna die soon. He meets his neighbor (Meg Ryan). They walk. They talk. They get to know each other. Her husband is cheating on her, she confesses. She's sick with breast cancer. Next thing you know, they're making out in the rain. Next, the daughter (Kristen Stewart) asks him to a party. He gets punched. They have a fight when they get back home. Next, they share a kiss (again, not kidding). Next day, Mom's okay. She no longer has cancer. Grandma finally kicks the bucket. He walks outside, seeing Mom neighbor. She offers to take a walk. He says no. He says goodbye. He apparently moves back to LA, and is sitting in a restaurant. The movie then ends with him showing the waitress his new thing he's writing (not porn this time). Movie over.

Really, really pointless and a waste of 2 hrs, seriously. Just wow. Wow, seriously? Honestly? It kinda sucked and was an utter waste of 2 hrs. I mean, I can't even wrap my head around how much of a waste of 2 hrs it was. There wasn't any point to any of it and at the end, you're asking yourself "that's it??". It didn't have any distinct, tangible plot and nothing really happened, honestly. It was completely pointless. I demand a refund for the time and money I so utterly burned away.
