Review of In the Land of Women (2007) by Richard F — 17 Jul 2010
Not what the poster might lead you to believe. This isn't a romance film between Adam Brody (who was in one of those Dawson's Creek rip offs, I can't remember which one) and Twilight star Kristen Stewart. It is about his relationship with four different women. His grandma, who is convinced she is dying even though she is perfectly healthy, Meg Ryan, playing Stewart's mum, Stewart herself and finally Elena Anaya, a wonderful Spanish actress here being the first time I've seen her speak English.
This is all about Brody finding himself through the lives of others. I know, it sounds like a steaming pile of s**te but it is actually pretty good and has a nice human feel to it all. Catch it if you get the chance.
