Review of In the Land of Women (2007) by Ali S — 29 Oct 2010
Admit it. You think Adam Brody is adorable. Although he's not always discerning enough about his movie choices, he comes across as honest and real in his roles. This is one such role.
In the Land of Women was an interesting, quirky little movie about the complicated nature of relationship. It's about a guy who, like any other guy, is just trying to find his way and experience the company of women along the way. It's never simple and I like how this film drives that point home in its unprententious, witty way.
And Olympia Dukakis? Brilliant. What a great character and great acting. Give it a spin.
