Review of In the Land of Women (2007) by Hisyam S — 21 May 2011
A bit maudlin for my tastes - another movie where the emotions are the emphasis instead of the story taking center stage and the emotions building from it naturally. You can feel yourself being manipulated the entire movie.
Ryan and Stewart are good though Brody underplays it too much. Worth a watch though.
