Review of In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011) by J. C — 20 Jan 2012
I'm happy to see that there are outsiders that understand the hell and atrocities Bosnian people have gone through. Shows that there is a possibility of normal life but it is up to the people to decide.
When you let your fascist self-elitism make your decisions for you, these things happen. War was NOT in Serbia, Bosnian people did NOT attack Serbia. Movie is amazing and shows that the Serbs do not want the rest of the world to see.
It is sad that throughout the history they have started a war with nearly every nation in the Balkans and Eastern Europe and still believe/pretend that they're innocent. One of the comments that there were 3 times more Serb casualties than Bosnian is one of the examples of ignorance and self-righteousness that these people have about themselves.
We don't need to bicker, but the world knows and has proven the murders, genocides, and tragic years the people of Bosnia have gone through. Bosnians are not only Muslim, but there are plenty of Christian/Catholic Bosnians that were affected by the events in Bosnia.
Serbs are nothing but a jealous, pathetic, and racist nation for the most part, albeit there are those who are sad and didn't agree with what took place, but those nationalist pigs that believe were the victims unfortunately have a louder voice and a majority.
Great movie! Keep it up Jolie.
