Review of In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011) by Ashley G — 20 Jan 2012
While the subject matter is appalling as a US citizen- who had no knowledge at the time to the atrocities that were taking place- the film was not only spot on historically, but was well written and exceptionally directed.
The story was a amazing tale of love, war , family and loss. I expected to be moved, but not moved in the way I was or as ashamed as a citizen, that we didn't do more as a country sooner.
My heart goes out to all of those on both sides of the fence that suffered from this atrocity.
