Obviously, I didn't expect happiness and sunshine from a movie with this subject matter, but it was simply TOO bleak and disturbing. I sat through about 45 minutes of it before I just couldn't take any more of it.
This is depressing and slow moving, and while the acting is good, it's just not something I can consider entertainment of any kind.
