Review of In the Land of Blood and Honey (2011) by Alex S — 08 Nov 2012

I was expecting much more from this movie. After all, it had so much publicity and dealt with a difficult subject of a bloody war in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Alas, the result was poor stiff acting, bad dialogues, uneven script and amateurish directing.

The film was dragging so slowly and so unevenly that I really forced myself to watch it till the end. I donâ(TM)t consider Anjelina Jolie to be a good actress. Sure, due to her sex appeal she can make a presence on the screen.

But sheâ(TM)s definitely not a good director and should stick to acting, at least as long as sheâ(TM)s still young and beautiful.
