Review of In the House (2012) by Mohammed M — 03 Sep 2013
Coming across like a French Woody Allen, Fabrice Luchini's role as the teacher crosses from reality to a surreal commentary on what is either rerality or a pupil's imaginary story of a classmate's family.
Slowly the subject moves to the teacher and his wife as everyone is variously seduced by the story and/or the boy.
Bizarrely intriguing and captivating.
Scott Thomas now seems more French than the French.
See it.
