A great movie that everyone should see. It portrays the South of the 60's just the way it was, with the African Americans still being prejudiced against. One of the best quotes from any movie "They call me Mr.
Tibbs" sums up how different life for African Americans was in the North and the South in the 60's. While prejudice still existed in the North, and still does today, it was mainstream in the South.
