A black detective from Philadelphia, minding his own business in a train station, gets stuck in a small town in the south, in the 60s. First he's suspected of a murder, because he's black (and how else could a black man be traveling with more than $100? And wearing a suit no less? I swear these people have never seen a black man in a suit before, or one who speaks like an educated man, it's like he flew in on a spaceship from some uncharted galaxy, but I digress.
.). These small city cops aren't used to solving murders... Should he stick around in this racist town to try and help them solve the murder? Watch Sidney in one of his greatest roles ever!
