Review of In the Heat of the Night (1967) by Mathias H — 18 Apr 2008
Jaw dropping, amazing. The interactions between Poitier and Steiger were the greatest actor interactions I have ever seen. This film perfectly captures the prejudices in the south but also the changes that were occuring.
The slap scene will go down as one of the most important scenes in film history.
