Review of In the Heat of the Night (1967) by Lief T — 23 Jun 2008
Good police/detective story focusing on racial tension/prejudice of the day. Best scene is near the beginning when the sheriff interrogates Poitier's character not knowing his deputy has hauled in the innocent murder expert from Philadelphia.
Classic.
