This film is a good reason to not channel surf.
This movie is on a lot on AMC or TCM, and I always end up watching it, and end up going to sleep about 2 hours later than I planned.
Love this film. Powerful performances by Steiger and Poitier, but I also have a fondness for Warren Oates, one of my favorite character actors of the late 60's and 70's.
Each night before you go to sleep, check TCM and AMC before you turn of the TV. Chances are it'll be on sooner rather than later.
