In the Heat of the Night is an exceptional film. It is about an African American detective is asked to investigate a murder in a racist southern town. Sidney Poitier and Rod Steiger give amazing performances.
The screenplay is well written. Norman Jewison did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching this motion picture because of the drama and mystery. In the Heat of the Night is a must see.
