Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Patrick K — 10 Dec 2015

This is a movie based on the novel of Moby Dick and the tale one survivor of the encounter tells the author of the book that has withstood the tests of time. It looks amazing and definately has a Ron Howard feel to it.

Chris Hemsworth once again teaming up with Howard excels in the lead role as Owen Chase the first mate aboard the Essex. Some have already said this is a watered down version of the book and his very Hollywoodised but still a highly entertaining couple of hours.
