A tale left untold. We only have glimpses of whaling and shipboard life. If you've seen the trailers, you've seen most of the action in the movie. Very disappointing.
I saw this in 3D and it was extremely gimmicky. Don't spend extra money seeing the movie in 3D. A wide-screen theatre is advisable if you want to see it at all.
I'd suggest that you skip this yawner, find a copy of the John Huston version of "Moby Dick" and be much more satisfied.
