Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Syed R — 12 Dec 2015
Started off great and it had a great middle but once it gets to the end it kinda fizzles out. It's one of those films where you are better off with the exaggerated version of a story, like with this case Moby Dick, than the real story itself.
There's a lot of great visuals throughout though, Ron Howard did a great job on that front. Acting wise is what you'd expect, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland did a pretty decent job. Overall it's not as bad as the critics are saying but it's one where you are in it just for the spectacle.
