Great movie! Despite the negative reviews, it was good. Yes, the last half was slow, but it teaches us the dangers of the sea, the last frontier on earth. As a mariner it fascinates me what life was like at sea back then.
The dangers are still present today, except for sea monsters. The CGI was well done! I am happy to see more maritime movies from Hollywood.
