Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Frank C — 15 Dec 2015
The low rating by so-called professional critics gave me pause, but I'm very glad I took the chance and saw In the Heart of the Sea. The reviewers who complain about the off-and-on pace of the film must have been expecting something along the lines of Fast and Furious.
It's a historical study with good action scenes where they are appropriate, mixed in with character studies and the historical drama. By my lights, it's a movie well worth viewing.
