Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Bill W — 16 Dec 2015
Critics be damned! This was a great movie brought to life the true story of the Essex which occurred around 1820. This two-story partly inspired Herman Melville's great epic Moby Dick. This movie moved at a good pace and was not boring at all.
The acting in the characterizations were good.. The book showed the strength and power of nature and of the great white whale and the weakness and vulnerability of human beings. Showed some growth in the characters: The captain was humbled through these circumstances and in the end show character by telling the truth about the cause of the shipwreck.
The acting was superb: Chris Hemsworth Brendan Gleeson Cillian Murphy been Whishaw and the rest of the crew did well.
