Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Nate J — 07 Jan 2016

A very interesting movie, a superb all-American tale of survival of the beast. I know this movie will be running against The Revenant at the Oscars, in which it will be destroyed by it. All that aside, it's a great survival tale and an interesting to story to unveil.

My main problem with it was the overused CGI. It feels like the vast majority of the movie is on a screen and that no effort was put into making actual sets. Which is a real shame as it comes across in the movie.

Regardless, worth your time.
