Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Ws W — 29 Jan 2016
Critics alike have panned In the Heart of the Sea, and I'm not entirely sure why. There are many things to like about this movie: the cutting thrills of the journey of a lifetime, the ongoing tension between ship mates, and the visual effects are just a few of these reasons.
It's not great by any means, but then again piecing together an enthralling shipwrecked tale is a lofty task.
