Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Zar B — 15 Mar 2016

Anyone who has read the book (Heart of the sea not Moby Dick) will wonder how such an entertaining story became such a poor film. They should have focused on portraying what really happened by highlighting the emotions of the challenges and dilemmas they faced (which the book did perfectly) instead of trying to adapt it to fit a younger audience which makes no sense as it isn't a kids story, they become cannibals for Christ sake! This is a typical case of a film being ruined by going over broad when they really didn't need to.
