Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by August C — 13 May 2016

The what if Moby Dick was a real? Yeah its that kind of movie. For the most part it's really engaging at least until the drawn out second half of the film. The charchters fall a bit flat and seeing them wither away on a boat is just as arduous.

It's a shame the movie had real potential to be a sprawling epic but falls short. I'd still recommend it, just don't expect the same depth as any Moby Dick film adaptation has.
