For a movie trying to sell itself on sheer epic scale, the cinematography makes no sense, opting for countless closeups and nauseatingly quick editing, as if the cinematographer and editor were dared to show as little of the sea as possible.
The rest of the movie was just okay, giving a passable story with passable performances.
