It's visually better overall than I thought it would be, but this is typical period piece drama over what should be a harsher tale of survival. If you've seen the trailer for this movie, you've really seen it all.
There's nothing that dives into focus more than the big spectacle we already know we're going to get, which gets pretty damn repetitive.
