Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Jonathan M — 19 Mar 2016
I would consider this the most underrated film of 2015. The story, script and production are all great and the whale looked amazing. The downside was the acting. The movie takes place in America, but the filmmakers felt the need to cast British, Australian, and Irish actors such as Tom Holland, Cillian Murphy, and the star, Chris Hemsworth.
Holland was pretty good, which makes me anticipate him being Spider-man. But Hemsworth? His accent was so bad that it took me 30 minutes to realize it was American. Overall, other than the acting, pretty solid film.
