Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Jack P — 14 Dec 2015

This was a really well-done movie that holds your attention throughout. Fascinating exploration of what it was like to be a Nantucket whaler in the height of the era.Ron Howard does a tremendous job. I think the reason some didn't like it was because they were fooled by the trailer into thinking it was an action and special effects movie.

There's some of that, but it's mostly a really good history piece.
