This is a fantastic oceanfaring yarn, with an interesting story at the center. The visuals capture the period beautifully, and while the special effects are amazing, the real drama is in the conflict between human and whale - and the ethics of whale-hunting.
A must see - fun and thought-provoking at the same time.
