Review of In the Heart of the Sea (2015) by Tlb T — 08 Apr 2016
We both have a "literary" background, and we found this "retelling" of the Essex Maritime disaster story of the 1800's, as it inspired Melville to write the novel "Moby Dick," to be extremely compelling.
A realistic step back in time, full of sounds, sights, even scent. We think the "rotten" ratings are ridiculous. Perhaps modern movie goers are too impatient to appreciate the risks and adventures of times gone by?
