If you ever need tired and sad old man in movie ... Tommy Lee Jones is your guy. Interesting murdermystery set in deep south. Sheriff (Tommy Lee Jones) stumbles into 40 year old bones in the swamp that have personal meaning for him.
At same time someone is killing prostitutes and runaways in brutal way. Movie has really interesting characters played by interesting people. For example Peter Sarsgaard does good job as drunk moviestar and John Goodman as sleazy mafioso.
Now add WTF ending and some civil-war hallusinations and you have pretty weird but nice movie.
