Review of In the Electric Mist (2009) by Jordon J — 28 Mar 2009
Long-in-production-then-direct-to-DVD film version of my favorite Robicheaux novel. A decent adaptation, with some excellent casting (Tommy Lee Jones does world-weary and violently righteous so well; Mary Steenburgen is fine as Bootsie), but I don't know how well it would stand up if you didn't already know the story--my mom couldn't follow it at all, for instance.
