Once more a film just good enough but not unpleasant. Above all every one seems to have lost his imagination in the electric mist. Tommy Lee is not inspired, he appears to play always the same character for the last 5 years. And, well, Tavernier has nothing to say about the US nor Louisiana, so he just produces a pale interpretation of the novel.
How, yeah, one thing I liked: to see the small time Southern mafia.
