Review of In the Electric Mist (2009) by Clément B — 09 May 2009
Slow moving adaptation that's following a somewhat contrived storyline, with Tommy Lee Jones doing a watered down version of his No Country for Old Men character. There's some great atmospheric images out of the Louisiana bayou, but the muddled plot (which should make more sense if you've read the book - not a sign of good filmmaking) and the slow pace made watching this more of a chore than it should be.
