Tommy Lee Jones is fantastic in this tale of the deep south.
It's an all-round good film. Nicely paced, it builds to a great ending..
My only complaint is that, in the ghost scenes, there's no FX to differentiate between Jones & the Ghosts. Lacking this, the scene doesn't seem surreal enough to be believed. (If that makes any sense) The way it's shot, it just looks like he's walked onto a civil war movie set. Which is a little confusing, since there's a civil war movie being made in the town where this is set.
Well worth watching nonetheless..
