Review of In the Electric Mist (2009) by Wendy B — 17 Jan 2010
As a fan of the Dave Robicheaux mysteries by James Lee Burke I wondered whether this movie would live up to the book but I was pleasantly surprised at how faithful it was. It probably won't be a big hit with today's audiences because of the slow movement and lack of action scenes.
For me, though, the pace was just right. Besides it was worth it just for the party scene with Buddy Guy.
