Review of In the Electric Mist (2009) by Derek D — 27 Jul 2012
Tommy Lee Jones is excellent as always, but this mystery seems rather lifeless. There's a colorful cast of characters and some great atmosphere from director Bertrand Tavernier, but the film was nowhere as compelling as say "No Country for Old Men" or even "A Time to Kill".
It's okay but disappointing considering the folks involved.
