Review of In the Cut (2003) by Friedl K — 09 Feb 2008
At times, this movie feels like a porn with a plot thrown in as an afterthought. I do like the fact that the male/female nudity is pretty balanced. first time I ever saw a penis being slobbered on in what claims to be a legitimate film.
I will say that the acting is good, and you are guessing throughout it who the murderer really is. but the fact that the killer was a character you never get to know is annoying, and some of the language used is offensive.
I don't know...if you want to see meg ryan naked (surprisingly uneventful) it's worth a see. kind of a big step from the meg ryan who couldn't even fake an orgasm in "when harry met sally" without director help.
